Wetroom Preparation

Before work can begin on your new wetroom, there's a lot of preparation work that needs to be done.

Depending on the project, we can remove all of your existing bathroom furniture and dispose of it safely for you at no extra charge.

If you're simply looking to replace a bath or remove a shower cubicle, then we can normally leave most of the bathroom in-tact and do our best to match the style of tiles and design of the existing bathroom for the new wetroom area.

Wetroom Installation

With the old bathroom fully removed, we begin by preparing the space for your new wetroom. This includes adjusting plumbing and electrical points, ensuring proper gradients for drainage, and reinforcing the floor if required. At this stage, we also install any necessary structural supports to accommodate your chosen fixtures & fittings.

Next, we fit the wetroom tray or create a gradiented floor area for walk-in access, followed by applying a full waterproof system to the floor and lower walls. Once this is complete, we begin tiling or fitting wall panels, taking care to ensure everything is sealed and aligned to the highest standard.

Finally, we carry out thorough testing ensuring your entire walk-in shower is cleaned, sealed, and checked to ensure it’s fully watertight, safe, and ready for everyday use.
